Hot ChocolateIt was a biting cold winter day at Kadic Academy. The trees looked harsh and barren, and the sky was a gloomy gray. Aelita's cheeks were flushed pink as she made her way through campus. She zipped her faux fur-lined jacket up a little farther, bundling herself up some more.

Darn this cold, she thought as she lost feeling in her nose. Xana may have been trying to murder me back in Lyoko, but at least there was no temperature.

She scurried quickly around to the corner to the dormitories, glad she was so close to the warmth. Just a little farther, Aelita, she coached herself. Then, before her eyes, appeared a familiar face.

CuddlesomeIt was a cozy winter day, and in the Belpois household the yule log was ablaze in the fireplace. The house smelled of seasonal holiday candles that Aelita loved to burn around this time of year.

She blew a tuft of pink hair out of her face, but it returned almost instantly. She brushed it away with the back of a flour-covered hand. She had been hard at work making a nice batch of cookies for herself and Jeremie to share this evening. She preferred sugar cookies, but Jeremie loved chocolate chip, and so she was making some chocolate chip especially for him. Not only that, but chocolate chip are significantly less work (not that that was her mCuddlesome by ~that-witch-bitch

I totally stole most of those from this([link]). Anywho, I'm Ashlea and I live in a teensy town in Maryland over here in the US. I go to a technical high school for videography, photography, and sound, so that's pretty much what I plan to do with my life. I'm an aspiring photographer, and I know that, while I'm better than some, I'm nowhere near where I want to/could/should be with my photography, and I'm constantly starving to improve. A normal week for me is completely filled with friends, family, school and photography. I'm currently using a Cannon Rebel T1i, and I really want to get something better, or at least a better lens. XD But, hey, it's better than a point-and-shoot. Yes, I'm a photo snob. I'm not afraid to point out what I don't like in someone's work, so if I come off as a jerk I'm not trying to be; it's kind of how I am. XD I'm a stamp whore and an Avatar: The Last Airbender fangirl. I love all my friends very, very much!

Mind if I use Holly for drawing practice? (asking because if something comes out good enough I might want to post it and I don't want you to be all "omg I can't believe she did this without asking D:")
